The South Dakota Council of Administrators of Special Education is a dedicated group of professionals that ensures that the special education students of our state have a voice. 2006-2007 is going to be a year of change and challenge with the final regulations of The Individuals With Disabilities Education Improvement Act of 2004 being adopted in August of 2006. This reauthorization is tied closely to NCLB and involves change for general educators as well as special educators. SDCASE members will be on the cutting edge of the changes as they are implemented and will be able to lead your district through the process. We encourage all to become active participants during these exciting times.
