SDASCD President’s Welcome  

Greetings from the South Dakota Association for Supervision and Curriculum Development (SDASCD).   Our organization consists of a community of educators who advocate sound policies and share best practices for the advancement of student achievement.  

Our work in South Dakota encompasses ASCD’s Whole Child Initiative and strives to provide educational environments in which children are healthy, safe, engaged, supported, and challenged.  The very essence of this work is collaborative in nature and requires educational, community, and legislative support.
